Petals In The Snow
As the chill of winter weighs heavy on this burdened
heart ... I have succumbed to those moments when
your presence lingers with me ... when I'm able to
rest in the serenity of your whispers and the comfort
of your embrace; I surrendered my heart under the
breath of a summer sky so long ago ... and even
now when all that remains are crimson petals
cast upon a blanket of snow ...
it's still yours
Though you're gone I can never release sweet
memories that remain etched in my soul so
devotedly ... it's your breath I feel when I lie
in bed at night ... it's your warmth that delivers
me from night chills that would otherwise freeze
forever any thoughts of happiness; I cannot be
sad when I sense you near ... I am numb to
death's icy tendrils and brush them off like
unwanted snowflakes upon my heart ...
it's ever you I seek
My eternal love you have ... a devotion that

Your favorite NFL team is on there also ( Jets? ), because I included all 32 NFL teams, randomly alternating. And of course, I included my favorite NFL team - The Houston Texans!

Rick, many people are surprised John McCain named Sarah Palin ( Alaska Governor ) as his running mate. Many experts from both sides are calling this a gamble and risky decision for John McCain, albeit the Republicans are a little more optimistic about this decision.
Either way, we're going to have the first African American president of the United States if Barack Obama wins, or we're going to have the first female vice president of the United States if John McCain wins.
It's going to be historical and the first of its kind.
I've been writing a lot about politics and sports, on a new AOL blog I started writing recently. It's separate from Yuku, but I should start my own Yuku blog. I currently have that HTML block disabled on my profile, because I'm trying to have fun on Yuku.
Most of my blogs involve a lot of work on my part, because I tend to mix facts with creative ideas.
I still don't know which candidate I'm going to vote for - McCain or Obama, but I will make my decisions accordingly. I'm keeping an open mind and listening to both sides.
